• Application: If you feel a connection with one of our cafe cats, the next step is to fill out an adoption application which is found here. Make sure you mark that you are interested in a cat from Snick's!

• Finding the Right Match: Our goal is to place each cat in a home that best suits their personality and needs. We do not operate on a "first come, first serve" basis. Instead, we carefully review all applications to ensure that the adopter and the cat are a great match for each other. This helps set both the adopter and their new feline friend up for long-term success and happiness.

• Approval Process: The team at the Wichita Animal Action League reviews each application to make sure that each cat’s needs and personality are a great match for your home. Since the adoptions team is volunteer-run, we appreciate your patience as they process applications. They prioritize our cafe cats and aim to respond within 24 hours. You can expect a quick 10-15 minute phone interview as part of the approval process.

• Adoption Agreement & Fee: Once approved, we’ll have you sign an adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and we’ll also share some helpful tips for settling your new family member into their forever home. Adoption fees are set by the Wichita Animal Action League (WAAL), and Snick’s does not keep any portion of the fee. 100% of the adoption fee goes directly to WAAL to support their rescue efforts.

• Happily Ever After: After the paperwork and adoption fee are complete, simply bring a carrier back to the cafe, and you can bring your new friend home.
